Since September, every child aged 4 to 11 at Laxton Junior School has contributed to the most extraordinary, vibrant and creative exhibition of art on the theme of animals. Using a multitude of media, styles, techniques and skills, not to mention an impressive mix of independent work and collaborative efforts, pupils have created an incredibly powerful and enjoyable exhibition for all to experience.
Sarah Ashby, Art Lead at Laxton Junior School commented “The children were really lucky to have creative input from experienced artists, including Sue Kirk, Sam Purcell and Ellie Sandall. The vast array of techniques used is impressive whilst the prevalent use of recycled materials throughout the exhibition sends a message to us all. We warmly welcome all visitors to the exhibition and look forward to sharing this fantastic celebration of art.”
